This fun dive into the joy and fun of bluegrass is perfect for students who want to explore the unique energy of this genre and make music with others! Students will learn the basics of bluegrass, how to play with others, and more! The group will also perform at Orem's "Come Together" Festival is August 2024. Come jam! In our class, young musicians will be grouped by experience, learning to play together in ensembles while discovering new and exciting music. Calling all guitar, bass, keyboard, drum players and singers! Join BIMEC's Summer Rock Band Class, where students learn to play together in a rock group. Led by a skilled teacher, students will gain valuable experience in teamwork, performance, and rock band dynamics, culminating in a thrilling end-of-summer showcase at Orem City's "Come Together" festival in August for one of our bands - determined by a final audition in July! Step back in time with us during our Music History Camp! Explore the rich tapestry of music through the ages from the ancient world to the present day. From Bach to Brahms to Bartok and beyond! This camp allows students to experience the evolution of music throughout history, introducing them to new favorites in a fun, interactive way. Open to students of all ages, and at all levels! From the iconic tunes of Elvis and Chuck Berry in the 1950s to the Beatles' British Invasion, rocking out with Hendrix, The Doors, and more, this course is a musical time machine through the decades. Explore the roots of jazz and blues evolving into rock, leading up to the pop hits we groove to today! Join us for a journey through music history's coolest moments.
4 Day Camp: Anything is possible for your student if they have a strong foundation in music theory. Students will be immersed in basic concepts that will help them skyrocket their progress! Come review notes in treble and bass clef, the circle of fifths, and strengthen rhythm skills through fun games and interactive activities. Don't miss out! Come explore the possibilities! This class will be so much fun for your children between the ages of 0-4! The Sand and Sea summer camp is part of the Sound Beginnings program. This summer camp session includes 8 classes, held Mon-Thurs for two weeks starting on Monday, July 8th, ending on July 18th, 2024. The darling student materials are only $25 (includes music album, student book, dancing scarf).

Does your whole family love to make music? We offer a $5.00 monthly discount for the second immediate family member enrolled in lessons, and a $10 monthly discount for the third!

Group/Duo Lessons
Are you and a friend or two interested in taking group lesson together, but the group you’re wanting isn’t already available? Then give us a call and set up your own group lessons! We can arrange just a month of group or duo lessons, or we can make it something more long term! Tuition for these lessons is also a monthly flat fee (prices listed below). Select group or duo lessons on the registration form and provide us with additional information about your situation within the form.
Duo Lessons
Are you and a friend or family member interested in taking duo lessons together? Then give us a call and set up your own duo lessons! This is a popular choice for siblings starting at a similar level, or for a parent learning alongside their child. We can arrange just a month of duo lessons, or we can schedule on going monthly duo lessons. Tuition for these lessons is a monthly flat fee (prices listed below). Beginning Group Ukulele Lessons:
For students 8 years old through adult who are just starting out on the ukulele. This semester (4-month) course includes 60 minute weekly lessons focusing on tuning, strumming and fingerpicking basics, chord transition, rhythm and singing practice. The students will play and sing together as they improve their ukulele skills!
Fees:

Materials Fee: $15 Ukulele workbook/folder with music and worksheets
Tuition: $300 per semester (or $75 pmts x4)

Intermediate Group Ukulele Lessons:
For students 10 years old through adult who know how to tune their ukulele and are already able to transition smoothly between the C, F and G chords. Kodály Strings
A complete musicianship string program for violin, viola and cello students. Students attend a weekly private lesson along with a weekly group class. Levels 1-5. Level 1 entry age is between 6-10 years old.

Sound Beginnings is education through musical play for babies and toddlers and a caregiver. Sound Beginnings prepares students for success in Let’s Play Music and in Preschool and Kindergarten!

Let's Play Music (age 4-6)
Let’s Play Music is a fun music theory course where children learn advanced concepts and skills using age-appropriate methods. This play-based curricula takes full advantage of the brain’s ability to absorb musical concepts while having fun. We teach skills using solfege hand signs, folk songs, games, imagination and creativity.

Presto (age 7-12)
Presto is for the beginning pianist, whether they have had a year or so of piano lessons or no piano lessons at all. Presto teaches so much more than piano! We teach COMPLETE musicianship: vocal training, ear training, sight reading, music theory, rhythm, music history, proper piano technique, and we do it in a fun, snappy style that tweens love!!
