Established in 1989, Best In Music carries a HUGE selection of sheet music with hundreds of thousands of titles in stock. We pride ourselves in our excellent, comprehensive selection. We also carry a large selection of guitars, ukuleles, amplifiers, pro audio equipment, effects, karaoke products, and other music accessories.
With two certified repair technicians, Best in Music is able to provide comprehensive repair service for guitars and other fretted instruments
In addition to our retail music stores, our Education Center offers a wide variety of private and group music lessons. The Best In Music Education Center’s goal is to create and nurture musicians by making music fun and encouraging all of our students to aim for excellence. Also, we have partnered with Utah County to create a Home School Music Program for the community. In effort to create an environment of learning and be a positive resource for our customers, we offer many various workshops throughout the year. Most of these workshops are available free of charge. We also offer a recital hall to music teachers at our 444 W. 800 N. Orem location. Please call 801-802-8022 for reservation details and to schedule a time in advance. Meet Our Key Staff
Ruby Beeston (Founder)
Ruby is a piano teacher, flautist, vocalist and former 20 year member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She founded Best In Music in 1989 with the goal of providing a comprehensive resource for people who love to make music. Her passion for music and desire to serve Utah County has propelled her to open 4 locations in the Utah County area. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. She and her husband Bill, are the parents of 4 children and have 14 grandchildren.
Bill founded Best In Music with his wife, Ruby, and family in 1989. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and went on to earn his MBA. In addition to working at Best In Music he has been employed as a medical technologist in the laboratory with Intermountain Health Care for 35 years.
Marcus has been with Best In Music since 1999 and purchased the business in January of 2017. Over the past 21 years Marcus has helped expand Best In Music from two locations to four. By acquiring guitar lines such as Fender, Taylor, Yamaha, and Martin, he has positioned Best In Music as a primary source for guitars in the state of Utah. He has developed an expertise in product knowledge and is our primary guitar buyer and product specialist. If you have a question, he has the answer. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business, and has over 25 years of sales and management experience. In addition to playing the guitar, ukulele and trumpet, Marcus enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife and five children.
